To ensure an exceptional, personalized guest experience while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality, operational efficiency, and staff performance.Plays a dual role: overseeing guest experience (front-of-house) and operational management of the lodge.  This role is hands-on and highly guest-focused, while still managing staff and standards. Guest Experience & Front-of-House ManagementStaff Management & LeadershipFood & Beverage OversightLodge Operations & AdministrationHousekeeping & Maintenance OversightSafari & Activity CoordinationFinancial & Commercial ResponsibilitiesHealth, Safety & Compliance

    • Exceptional guest service and attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask in a remote environment
    • Financial and operational acumen
    • Problem-solving and decision-making ability
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
     Typical Qualifications & Experience
    • Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or similar
    • 3–5+ years’ experience in a luxury lodge or 5-star hotel
    • Previous supervisory or management experience essential
    • Knowledge of safari/lodge operations highly advantageous
    • Wine knowledge (beneficial)
    • Valid driver’s license (often required in remote lodges)
     Working Conditions (Eastern Cape Lodges)
    • Live-in position (remote location)
    • Shift work, including weekends and public holidays
    • Long hours with a hands-on operational role
    • High guest interaction and expectation environment
